ICP Keyword Generator
Your buyers do not describe themselves the way your pitch deck does. These are the words they use.
Turn your ICP into search terms
The search term is the targeting
Every prospecting run starts with a phrase. Get it right and the list is mostly buyers. Get it wrong and you spend a week qualifying out agencies, job boards and competitors. The gap between the two is usually vocabulary: you search for the category you think you are in, and your customers write about the job they are trying to finish.
Their words, not your category
A company that would buy returns automation rarely writes returns automation on its site. It writes about its exchange policy, its warehouse workload, or the portal it built in house. Terms drawn from how buyers describe their own situation find companies that a category search never surfaces.
Negative keywords do the qualification
The terms that pull in the wrong companies matter as much as the ones that pull in the right ones. Agencies, review sites, job listings and competitor content share most of your vocabulary. Excluding them at the search step is far cheaper than filtering them out of a finished list.
Language follows the market
If you sell into Germany, the useful terms are German, and they are not translations of your English ones. Local phrasing, local platform names and local compliance vocabulary decide whether a search returns the market or returns nothing.
