NewThe ManyPI MCP Server is now live

HTTP Header Analyzer

A free tool that requests any web address and shows the status code and every response header the server sends back. It turns the invisible part of loading a web page into something a class can read.

What you will learn

  • Read a status code and say what it means
  • Name common response headers and what they control
  • Spot redirects, caching rules and cookies in a real response

What it does

  • Requests the address you enter from ManyPI's server and shows the status code and all response headers.

  • Groups what matters: the server software, security headers, cookies and caching rules.

The tool fetches the page itself, so nothing is installed and no browser extension is needed. It sees what any visitor would see, without being logged in.

Why it is useful in class

Every page load starts with a short exchange of text between browser and server. The developer tools show it too, but they are crowded. Here the response arrives on its own, which is easier to read for a first look.

Ideas for class

  • Request https://example.com together and read the response line by line with the guide to how HTTP works.

  • Compare an address with and without www, or with http:// instead of https://, and find the redirect.

  • Let learners look for security headers such as strict-transport-security and explain what they ask the browser to do.
