Two-week internship in March: question from a Year 10 student
Dear Ms Weber, I saw on your website that your workshop builds furniture for schools, and I would love to see how a design turns into a finished piece. I am in Year 10 at Lindenweg School and enjoy design and technology, where I recently built a small shelf. I am careful, punctual and happy to help wherever it is needed. Could I do a two-week internship with you from 9 to 20 March? I would like to learn how you plan a project and work with wood. My CV is attached. You can reach me at this address or on 0123 456789. Thank you very much, Lena Schmidt
The names and the school are examples; every real email is written for one real company.
Peer review
If there is no answer after about a week, a one-sentence friendly reply to the same email is fine.
