SQL is the fastest way to ask a table a question
Filtering, grouping and totalling in a spreadsheet means a pivot table, three helper columns and a formula you will not understand next week. The same question in SQL is one readable line that says exactly what you asked. This playground gives you that without setting up a database or uploading anything.
What the engine supports
SELECT with expressions and aliases, DISTINCT, WHERE with the usual comparison and boolean operators plus LIKE, IN, BETWEEN and IS NULL, GROUP BY, HAVING, ORDER BY, LIMIT and OFFSET. Aggregates cover COUNT, SUM, AVG, MIN, MAX and GROUP_CONCAT, and there are scalar functions for text and rounding.
What it does not do, and says so
There is one table, so JOIN, subqueries, window functions and UNION are out of scope, and anything that writes is rejected rather than ignored. You get a clear error naming the unsupported feature instead of a silently wrong result, which matters more than the feature would.
Types are inferred, values are preserved
Columns are typed by looking at their values, so numeric comparisons and SUM behave as you expect. The text you loaded is never rewritten: a price stored as 49.00 comes back as 49.00 rather than being helpfully trimmed to 49.
