Error responses

What each status code means and what to do about it.

400 Bad Request: Malformed body or missing parameters. Check the endpoint's parameter schema.
401 Unauthorized: Missing, revoked or malformed key. Keys must start with mpi_ and be sent as a Bearer token.
403 Forbidden: The key is valid but lacks the scope for this call.
404 Not Found: Unknown slug or scraper id. Slugs resolve within the key owner's workspace.
402 / credit errors: Out of credits, or past a spend limit you set.
429 Too Many Requests: Rate limited. Back off and retry.
5xx: Something on our side. Safe to retry with backoff; contact support if it persists.
